Hi everyone!!!! Sorry I've been so absent lately! Between Christmas and New Year's it got a bit hectic! But the most exciting news that I have to share is that I'm ENGAGED!!!!! My boyfriend (well, I guess fiance now lol...that sounds weird!) and I have been dating for four and a half years. He gave me a vacation to this cute little town called Helen for Christmas. I didn't really think anything else of it, because we've been there before and I thought it was just my Christmas present! Little did I know that he had a bigger surprise for me!
Well, we went last week and stayed in this adorable cabin. One day, he said that he wanted to go on this hike. So we hiked up this little trail to this absolutely breathtaking waterfall. There were a bunch of picnic benches there and we brought picnic lunch, so we ate right next to the waterfall. It was so beautiful. Afterwards, we were just sitting on the bench watching the falls, and he says to me "Close your eyes, I have a surprise for you." He always likes to play jokes and tease me, so I thought it was something like that!
He told me to open my eyes and he was on his knee with the most gorgeous ring in his hand!!!!!! He asked me to marry him and of course I said yes! Though I don't really remember that much lol. I just remember laughing and crying! It was one of the best moments of my life.
I just wanted to share my happy time with all of my wonderful DA friends!!
