Art Theft and Stolen Identity

It has recently been brought to my attention that there is someone who created a Deviant Art account and has not only stolen my artwork, but is also claiming to be me.

First and foremost I wanted to thank all of you who have taken the time to contact me about this matter. It is because of the fabulous members of the art community that art thieves are brought to light and I really can't thank you enough for all of your help.

I didn't really want to make a public statement about this incident. I usually like to handle these issues professionally and behind closed doors so to speak. But because of this person stealing my artwork and also claiming to be me, it has caused a lot of confusion so I thought a quick public note would be appropriate. I just wanted to let you all know that I am aware of the situation and it is currently being rectified.

This aurella.deviantart.com account is the only account that I've ever had and will ever have on Deviant Art. Also, you can always visit my website at www.aurella-art.com which includes links to all my official licensed products and stores. If you happen to come across anything you believe to be a copyright infringement of my artwork, please contact me directly at nikki@aurella-art.com. I'm hoping that this ordeal will be resolved quickly. Thanks again for all of your support in this matter!
