Major Update and Art Upload!

Wow, it has been over a year since the last time I updated my Deviant Art account. I've been seriously neglecting it lately. I hope you all didn't think that I disappeared! I've still been painting away, but apparently just lazy about updating here. I still visit here often though as I love to look at all the beautiful art! It's a constant inspiration for me.

Well, the biggest thing that has happened to me since my last update is that I had a little girl! Her name is Ariana and she is turning a year old next month. She is an absolute joy to have. She makes me laugh and smile every day and I feel like the luckiest mom in the world!

Even though my time has been limited, I've still managed to get a lot of painting and work done as you can hopefully see by all of my updates!  I've mostly been doing commission work these days. I do both standard commissions and what I call "Adoptable Images." This is where someone can commission me to turn one of my existing sketches into a finished painting. They're so much fun! I've also joined two art collectives: Femme Thou Art Collective and the Bubblegum Dreams Art Collective. They both have monthly themed auctions on Facebook, so most of my non-commissioned paintings have been paintings for those auctions. They're really great because a lot of the themes push me out of my comfort zone and inspire me to create some really neat new pieces that I wouldn't have done otherwise!

I've also been making even more digital stamps/coloring pages lately and offering them for sale! I've sold these for awhile now, but I just started a stamping group on Facebook so I've been concentrating a bit more time to creating new stamps. And, I've created a Patreon campaign! I heard about Patreon and really thought it was such a great idea. If you haven't heard about it before, it's kind of like Kickstarter except instead of backing a particular project, you back the creator and help them to continue doing what they do best! I've set up all different sorts of pledge tiers and each one has their own rewards...lots of fun goodies like original sketches, hand embellished prints, hand written thank you cards, walkthroughs of each Patreon painting and more! And even at the $1 level, you gain access to my Patreon feed where I post my most extensive work in progress photos which is a lot of fun. I generally update 3-5 times a day when I'm working on a piece so you can watch every step of the process!
